For years, I shrank—spoke less, dressed quieter, tried to fade into the background. I thought being invisible would protect me.

But it didn't.

I grew tired of shrinking, tired of being silenced. That's when I decided to become loud.

From Pain to Power

HerEmpowr was born from my frustration with how women and sexual minorities are objectified and silenced. I was tired of hearing disturbing comments about my body and watching people behave disrespectfully toward women.

I wanted to solve the problem of women being sexualized simply for wearing what makes them feel comfortable and confident.

Through EM-POWER, I found my POWER. A way to channel frustration and love for art into something positive—creating designs that speak to the strength and resilience of everyone whose voices aren't heard.
