HerStory. how the brand was born.

Her Empowr is a Finnish feminist clothing brand that was born out of frustration with the ways women's and sexual minorities bodies and voices are often objectified and silenced in society. I was tired of hearing negative and disturbing comments about her own body and witnessing people behave in disrespectful and entitled ways towards women. I wanted to address  problem of women being sexualized simply for wearing what makes them feel comfortable and confident.

Through EM-POWER, she found her POWER. Emilia's power. A way to channel her frustration and love for arts into something positive and empowering creating designs that speak to the strength and resilience of human beings everywhere. 

Empowr offers a unique collection of print designs inspired by feminism and designed to empower those whose voices are not heard in the society. We believe that everyone should feel empowered and confident in theirself and their message, and we're proud to support that mission with our inspiring designs.
